ALFRED THE HEDGEHOG UPDATE

Hey all! Here’s what’s been going on the past few days: for starters, Alfred has tested negative for covid! This is such a huge relief. We’ve also passed $50k!?!? I don’t think Alfred believed me when I mentioned how much people have donated. That being said, his voice sounds much brighter over the phone, and he seems to be in much better health than yesterday. He went through some physical therapy earlier, but he’s still too weak to walk. It looks like he’s facing potential gastric/pancreatic issues, so he’s being monitored as he’s awaiting more tests. 'Alfred’s staying overnight at the hospital again.

Update 4, once again straight from the Kofi page: Without his cellphone, Alfred is only able to reach me through the hospital’s phone, making it harder to keep me in the loop, but Alfred is desperate to let you all know how he’s doing soon.'

I.don’t know how you can lose track of something like that (his belongings were packed into the back of the wheelchair he was in) but I’m hoping it can all be found soon. Unfortunately, the hospital staff seem to have misplaced some of his belongings, such as his cellphone and the paperwork from his endoscopy surgery at the previous hospital. He’s still not feeling well, but he’s currently about to receive the results of some of his medical tests. 'Update: I was able to speak to Alfred over the phone about an hour ago.
